Bio

Ana Maria Mayda is a Professor of Economics at the School of Foreign Service and Department of Economics at Georgetown University. She previously served as faculty at the 2026 Summer School. Her research focuses on International Migration, International Trade and Political Economy. She is also a Research Fellow of CEPR, CReAM and IZA. She obtained a PhD in Economics from Harvard University in 2003, and a Laurea in Economics from the University of Roma, La Sapienza in 1997.
