Helen Aguirre

My name is Helen Aguirre. I'm a fourth-year economics major, also pursuing a minor in Statistics. As an immigrant from Peru, I feel particularly connected to economic research in immigration and want to deepen my understanding of the socioeconomic factors and policies affecting immigrant communities. I am also interested in exploring labor economics, inequality and urban economics in the US and countries in Latin America.

Currently, I am working with the Global Migration as part of the social media team to help promote the research of the Center's affiliates in this field.
