Position Title
PhD Student
- Sociology
I am a third year doctoral student studying topics related to incarceration, immigration, crime, health care, and the social safety net. Throughout my work I deploy quantitative research methods.
I am currently working for Professor Caitlin Patler (UC Davis) as a graduate student researcher. In addition to my work at UC Davis I am a research fellow at the California Policy Lab (UC Berkeley) and a health care policy researcher at California Health Policy Strategies (Sacramento).
If you are a fellow sociologist in training and have similar interests, I am always looking for new collaborations, so please feel free to reach out! If you are an undergraduate student interested in the field of sociology, please contact me. There are a variety of ways to get involved in research and prepare yourself for graduate school. I attended UC Davis as an undergraduate student and would treasure the opportunity to share my experiences with you.
