Lukas Mackin

My name is Lukas Mackin. I'm a third-year economics and math analytics and operations research double major. My main interest is game theory/strategy and its applications. Although game theory has been applied to other aspects of economics, I am interested in exploring the possible intersection of game theory and immigration. On top of my own academic interest with immigration, my grandparents on my mother’s side of the family are immigrants. Able to escape the harsh life of communist Yugoslavia, I hope to honor my grandparents by applying my knowledge to the field of immigration.

Currently, my work at the Global Migration Center consists of working with the social media team to help promote the work of the Center’s affiliates and to promote the GMC as a whole.
