Valerie Lima

My name is Valerie Lima, and I am a fourth-year student at Davis majoring in Sociology with an emphasis in Law and Society with a minor in Human Rights. I am interested in the immigrant experience with a focus on access to education. 

I come from a family of immigrants, so its a topic personal to me. I am big on promoting educational equity and ensuring all have access to higher education. 

Outside of my work as an academic, I enjoy working with kids, crocheting, and cooking.
