Call for Papers: Special Issue on “Immigration in OECD Countries” at Scandinavian Journal of Economics
Submission Deadline: April 15, 2024
Guest editors: Tommy Andersson (Lund), Anthony Edo (CEPII) and Hillel Rapoport (PSE, CEPII and LISER)
The Scandinavian Journal of Economics is having an open call for papers for a special issue that will address economic questions related to immigration in OECD countries. Submitted papers are expected to make a significant contribution to our understanding of the determinants and consequences of immigration in receiving countries and globally. This call follows up on the 13th annual OECD-CEPII-LISER-PSE Conference on “Immigration in OECD Countries” that took place at the OECD headquarters in Paris on 11-12 December 2023. External submissions of non-conference papers are most welcome and will be given equal consideration. All submissions will go through the SJE’s regular peer review process. Anthony Edo (anthony.edo@cepii.fr) and Hillel Rapoport (hillel.rapoport@psemail.eu) will co-edit the special issue with Tommy Andersson as SJE editor. The special issue is expected to be published in 2025.
Submission guidelines:
Manuscripts submitted to the SJE should be in English and ideally are 35-45 pages, including references, figures, and tables. They should use double-spacing, margins of at least 2.5 cm, and a standard font (e.g., 12-pt. Times New Roman).
There is a submission fee of USD 100 for manuscripts submitted for the SJE special issue. This will be refunded for papers presented at the 13th Immigration in OECD Countries Conference. It is payable by credit card during the submission process.
The SJE has a data policy for experimental papers and empirical papers. Please read the data policy before you submit a paper.
