The GMC at the 2025 Undergraduate Research Fair

The GMC participated in the 2025 Undergraduate Research Fair, engaging with over 600 students from all four colleges eager to explore research opportunities.

Each year, the Center recruits motivated undergraduate students interested in migration to join its media team and help share our research through a variety of communication channels.

About the GMC Media Team

• The GMC media team leads the Center’s communication activities, including:
  • Writing and designing newsletters
  • Posting updates and event information on the website
  • Managing GMC’s social media accounts
  • Creating posters, graphics, and other promotional materials
• The position offers flexible hours and a chance to gain experience in academic communications and migration research outreach.
• We typically hire one or two new undergraduate students each year, with the next openings starting at the end of Winter 2026.
