Stacey Farenthold Awarded 2020-21 UCD Humanities Institute Faculty Research Fellowship

The Faculty Research Fellowship program at the DHI is aimed at helping faculty in the humanities, arts, and qualitative social sciences make progress on a major research or creative project. The purpose of the fellowship is to further the research or creative activity of the individual recipients and to enable faculty to meet and work with colleagues in other disciplines and departments.

Santiago Perez Awarded Best Article Published by a Young Researcher

Santiago Perez's article "The (South) American Dream: Mobility and Economic Outcomes of First- and Second-Generation Immigrants in Nineteenth-Century Argentina" was recently awarded Best Article Published by a Young Researcher, by the National Academy of Economic Sciences of Argentina.

Caitlin Patler Receives Hellman Fellowship

The Hellman Fellows Fund provides grants to more than 100 junior faculty members annually at all 10 UCs and four private institutions. The fellowships of up to $50,000 are intended to give early-career faculty extra support for their research.
