Giovanni Peri on refugees in the Washington Post Blog

In a Washington Post article, entitled “The Big Myth about Refugees,” journalist Ana Swanson discusses the Economic effects of refugees citing extracts from an interview based on Professor Giovanni Peri’s research.

The research, by Peri and Mette Foged of the University of Copenhagen, shows how an influx of lower-wage immigrants into a community tends to raise wages for everyone else. The study examines the wages of every person in Denmark for a period of 12 years that included an influx of refugees
