Fed Chair Finds Trump-Era Immigration Policies Still Harm Economy

GMC director Giovanni Peri and GMC affiliate Reem Zaiour were featured on Forbes for their findings on labor shortages in the US. They found that due to the pandemic and US immigration policies that there were less working age immigrants, about 2 million less. This news feature details that during the Trump administration the policies are very negatively impactful to the economy now, as noted, “those policies contributed to inflation and have continued to damage the U.S. economy.”
